New NASCAR

As many of you may know, I am a huge NASCAR fan, and have been since the late '60's. But I have found a new sport, thanks to cooper green, my quirky friend on my blog role.

We, of the maturing crowd, need a more sedate form of entertainment. NASCAR recognized this and branched off into a more French type racing.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give to you NASCARGOT!

Thank you, Cooper, for giving me a reason to love sports again.

  2. olly, we all need to pay attention to our backyards. It's amazing what goes on out there. Those pixies drive me fucking nuts with all that dancing and fluttering about.

  3. Obviously not a replay of the last two races. Unless Jimmy Johnson is placed under house arrest and gets locked up in his garage at Homestead, he's going to win his second championship in a row. I'm already ready for Daytona 2008. Just another strong indicator that spring time and warmer days are just around the corner.

  6. jim, I know. I just don't car about this year at all. I am not a Hendrix fan, or a fan of his drivers. I am waiting on 2008, too.

heidi, you could probably find enough in your barn and pasture to start you own league.

e.craig, I like it when Jeff Gordon won and was on the Pepsi bottle.

  15. This was really funny, and it reminded me of an old joke. I hope you haven't heard it. Here it is:

The turtle was robbed during one of her morning walks in the forest. The Big Bad Wolf (the policeman) came to the scene of the crime, and asked the turtle: "Describe what happened."
"I don't know," the turtle answered. "It all happened so fast. Those nasty snails..."
