Rules To Live By
To HEll With Murphy's Law! Here are a few rules you can get behind and believe in.

7. If You Can’t Beat Them, Join Them, Then Beat Them.
8. If It’s Worth Doing, It’s Got To Be Done Right Now.
9. If You Can’t Win, Change The Rules.
10. If You Can’t Change The Rules, Ignore Them.
11. Perfection Is Not Optional.
12. When Faced Without A Challenge, Make One.
13. “No” Simply Means Begin Again On A Higher Level.
14. Don’t Walk When You Can Run.
15. Bureaucracy Is A Challenge To Be Conquered With A Righteous Attitude, A Tolerance For Stupidity, And A Bulldozer When Necessary.
16. When In Doubt, Think.
17. Patience Is A Virtue, But Persistence To The Point Of Success Is A Blessing.

Spoken like a true rebel. However, the squeaky wheel where I work doesn't get replaced, he gets the oil.
ReplyDeleteMatty, the best oiled wheels still, after years of dependable service, break down...usually at the most inopportune time. They should be replace, cleaned up and put to use in a less stressful manner.
ReplyDeleteI'm really stuck on number 7. If You Can’t Beat Them, Join Them, Then Beat Them.
ReplyDeleteI read the others but I keep coming back to that one. It may become my motto for the forseable future....
Daffy, most power houses crumble from withing. Good plan.
ReplyDeletelove this!!!:D
ReplyDeleteCoffey...
ReplyDeleteMy motto is ...
"Don't let people drive you crazy when you know it's in walking distance."
It is posted right over the printer where I have to look at it every day. I try to keep it in the for-front when I'm usually dealing with people, espicially stupid people.
My best bud's is ...
"The glass is always half full so don't squander what you've got."
It took a looooong time for hime to truly learn that one and now its almost printed on the inside of his eye-balls.
