Gold Star License Plates - Is Your State's There

Remember the Gold Star Moms (and families) who’s sons and daughters have made the ultimate sacrifice this Christmas season.

And as usual, I learned something new, and cannot believe I have never thought about this before.  I’m sorry and feel ashamed for this oversight.

I was perusing my daily reads when I came across Steve, The Lightning Man’s blog.  His blog can be found at Global Domination Through Applied Inactivity .   Steve is an ex Army MP and has a great blog.  Give him a look-at.
I have not seen a plate like this in Georgia, though it is available.  See if your state is listed below and if not, see if you can get one passed through your state legislators.

Thank you to the families who own the Gold Star and I pray for peace in your soul.

(You can click on the pics to bigger size them - I do it, too)

  1. Hi CP, the link did not work for me. This is something that should be provided at no charge nationwide.

  6. I see PA's there, but I've never seen one on the road. A lot of this may be getting more personal....Megan spent a couple of hours with the Marine recruiter on Thursday. I don't think she's sold on the Marines, but we're going back with her Monday to talk some more. She also wants to find out about the Guard (probably Air Force). Who'd have thunk it of the Princess?

  7. Good for her. AF or Navy would be great for her. Depending on what career path she chooses. But what ever the recruiter promises get it in writing. The mil has a way of forgetting their promises.

Hollywood Plastic party platter and you can be confident that at least your guests will be going home with a bit of food inside them.
    Thanks.
