allright. #18 was just WRONG!!! but very funny...
norman!
I think there is a law - if you live in the South, you must eat fried green tomatoes. They are delish, aren't they? Here's a question for you - flour or cornmeal?
you caused a car crash go on then how?
and what did you perfrom on stage?
Norman – You are right. Maybe if she had a “hot rod” she wouldn’t have been so cold. Actually, she is a very sweet and warm person, but where she spits, grass never grows again.
Grizzbabe – I don’t know. I don’t cook them. I just eat them – especially with ranch dressing. All that is required is to set them in front of me or within arms reach.
Her indoors – Oh! Once I was racing with another idiot and said other idiot didn’t want to dent his fender when I changed lanes on him so he ran off the road into a tree. He was okay, but pissed. I won! Another time I was sitting at a stop-light. I looked into my rearview mirror and saw the pickup coming pretty fast. I pulled into the oncoming lane and let the pickup run into the rear of the car in front of me. A car coming head on to me swerved and hit a bus stop bench (just a scratch because he wasn’t going very fast.)
I was never charged in either of the incidents. The first one, I left before the cops arrived and the other guy didn’t know me. The second one, the guy who swerved and hit the bus stop bench told the police that he wasn’t upset – that he would have done the same thing. It was the guy in the pickup truck who was charged with DUI and was taken to jail after he got out of the hospital. The woman in front of me started the “whip-lash” bull shit. But I told her I would testify that the pickup guy didn’t hit her that hard. Before the cops arrived, she was picking up sack of groceries out of the floor board and walking around talking and acting normal. When the police arrived she started this limping shit and saying her neck hurt. I told the cops she what she had been doing. He said he had to call for an ambulance because she said she was hurt. I told both insurance companies she was faking, but I don’t know what happened after that.
Great list. You can really learn alot about your blog buddies from these lists.
Her indoors - sorry, I missed the second part of your question. I have had to give presentations on stage when I was in college and when I was working on my MBA. It’s difficult standing before an audience of your peers who probably know more about what you are presenting than you do, but you have to make it look like you know what you are talking about. I also did a small skit on a cruse when I had to play Tarzan saving my Jane in order to win the “Knobby Knees” contest. I have it on video, too. I have sang with choruses and in general, been a ham most of my life.
Grizzbabe-the original Fried Green Tomatoes recipe (from the real Whistle Stop cafe) calls for both flour and cornmeal.
I want to know who's life you saved and what happened.
This definitely is a good way to get to know people. I did it on my blog too.
