BD, I don't see how he can since they have him recorded over the phone making incriminating statements.
coffeypot, I'm no expert on the state of Illinois, but a co-worker is from there, and she said they have held the self-proclaimed title of "most corrupt state" for many years.
RWA, I have heard that before, too. Even Chuck laughs and tells me that during the 60’s Mayor Daily and the Democratic Party was involved in voter fraud - people voting that had been dead for many years. So the slogan from Daily was, “Vote Today and Vote Often.” But they were Democrats so nothing came of the investigation. Instead, he was reelected and then his son was elected. Then they gave Oprah air time.
Very funny! And so true.
