SM, the mess you speak of started with the Democrat controlled congress and the Republican Party tuning their back on Bush because they were afraid of the Liberal media. Obama has been on an apologizing campaign because of the things he as said and done. His popularity has fallen in his first 100 days because the American people are beginning to see that they bought into all the bumper stickers and the media hype over someone who would even be in the running if he hadn’t been black. He was a novelty and a chance to make history so everyone hopped on board. He tried to make his cabinet a Chicago mob, but they couldn’t pass scrutiny, and the Democratic party is beginning to see that he is destroying any chance of freedom and prosperity by his planned programs. Already he has increased the national debt more than the last four presidents combined. At this rate the US will go bankrupt and we will be looking to China or the Middle East to bail us out. So if a shark comes along and eats him, I will not shed a tear.
Yes surveys are only as good as the demographic used to achieve them, and I had to endure 8 years of Bush Bashing. And I would be slapping McCain on the back because the Republicans have a better stimulus package and the cabinet would not look like a bunch of goons and communist. As far as meeting y’all in June, I see no reason to not meet you. You just have your opinions as I do. But that doesn’t mean we share a few beers - just don’t throw the bottle. I believe Barry Husain’s first 100 days are a disaster to the country and we are in for more bad times with more taxes to be paid. Raising taxes has NEVER worked to stimulate the economy, and he cannot have his packages without paying for it through tax hikes.

FYI: Obama's job approval rating remains above 60%. That is damn good for the mess he has inherited.
I love your spin where you place blame on the Democrats. But it won't work.
Last I checked .. Rasmussen had his approval rating at 36%. And it's a credible poll.
Some polls choose demographics that skew the rating beyond reality.
C'mon Coffey - 8 years and you are still trying to blame the dems for this?
sigh...guess I am not on your list of "people to meet" in July in McGaheysville...anymore.
Polls don't mean anything - depends on whom you poll.
Sorry, truly I said anything. I just get tired of the abuse one President is taking being in office less than 100 days.
You would've been slapping ol' boy McCain on the back.
....for HALF the job President Obama has done so far.
