Where's My Newspaper

"WHERE IS MY SUNDAY PAPER?” the irate lady loudly demanded over the phone to the clerk at the newspaper office.

"Madam", said the newspaper employee, "today is Saturday.  The Sunday paper is not delivered until tomorrow, on SUNDAY".

There was quite a long pause on the other end of the phone, followed by a ray of recognition as she was heard to mutter, “Well, shit, that explains why no one was at church either.”

I'm glad I'm not getting old like her.  I would hate to...uh...give me a minute...uh...what was the question again?

I swear that's a picture of MY Mother!! (And if it isn't, then the lady in the photograph has stolen my Mother's knack for selective reasoning.)

haha! You aren't getting old like her! What are you anyway? Like 38?
BTW, I'm not quitting nursing school, but my schedule is a lot lighter this semester so I have to keep busy or else my husband will be begging me to hit him over the head with the round top shovel and bury him in the backyard, and since I still have a mortgage and need him to pay it, it's crucial I continue to have "projects."
