WTF Is Going On?

Unlike this lady, it seems I do not have any hidden talents when it comes to posting comments on your sites.  I don’t know what’s up with my blog or my blogging skills.   It has been close to a year now that I have been unable to post from YouTube or links to other blogs.  This sucks.

But now I am having trouble posting comments on some blogs.  Not all, just a few.  Middle Child’s blog will not let me post.  Navy One only gets a few of them, but not all.  WTF, folks?

I type in a humorous yet aptly appropriate and thought provoking comment and hit enter.  Some ask for the word verification (and that seems to have changed, too) some don’t, but either way I see the comment post.  The message at the top says it has posted.  I believe it.  Why would it lie to me?  Yet when I return to the main page, the comment is gone.  Nowhere! Not There! Like It Never Was!

You blocking me?

I looked in the mirror to make sure I was holding my mouth just right.  I made sure my hands were clean.  I have muttered a prayer to the blogging gods, but it doesn’t work.  Some of you will just not let me comment. (I hear some of you saying that’s a blessing…Fuck You. Shut It!)

I do not want to go the Google Help (oxymoron) if I can help it.  I trust you, my experienced blogger pals. What say you?

I don't know what to tell you. I get comments from you occasionally and certainly have not blocked you. You can block someone so the person can't see your blog at all, but I don't even know if you can block someone from commenting. The word confirmation has definitely changed. It's two words now and I can usually tell what one is with no problem, but the second one is a bitch. I would think bloggers would miss your comments. Sometimes I type a comment and click on publish and my comment disappears, never to be seen again.

Love,
Janie

Firstly -- WTH?!? Is that a baton she's... what, twirling in there? Or is she just thumping in between her legs? I cannot.... just.... wth?

Commenting - I sometimes have trouble too, I
HATE word verification and personally think that no one needs it unless they are being spammed with hundreds of posts it's just a pain in the ass.

Blogger would not let me post at all for a LONG time, like 6 months or so, and I was PISSED.

I finally took my computer in & had it all cleaned up and reloaded and the problems were magically solved.

Just a thought, maybe you've caught a virus from some of the company you keep....

not me, but maybe somebody else...

or if you're surfing porn you could catch something.

But you wouldn't be surfing porn, now would you Coffey? ;-)

I'm going to have to say the universe is out to get you! Good luck with that.

I see your comments, unless you comment on every post of mine? Otherwise you're good here. Sorry about your troubles.

WHERE do you find these pics? Nevermind, I really don't want to know.

Of course I would NEVER block you. And I don't do the word verification thingy. Maybe once a week I get an anonymous comment that blogger automatically filters.

The word verification is fine if you have hundreds of spammy types, but otherwise I wouldn't bother.

Now I have to type helann hedemple (I think) to post this. Lets see how that goes.

I've had some problems posting comments also. In fact, at times I can't even open a blog. Arrrgghhh....
Not sure about the photo...except I am grateful to have no talents, rather than having that particular talent.. I'm guessing that is a baton or two????
Happy Wednesday!

Naughty Q-tip is all I can think when I look at that photo.

I had the same problem for a while, but not lately.

Switching from Internet Exploder to Google Chrome helped.

For incoming comments, turning on the "blog owner approval" seemed to let a lot more in. (I could see before where people were trying, but they weren't making it to me).

Hope whatever it is, you solve it soon - I know how much your words mean to me.

Ah hah!! I had wondered why I would receive the email notifying me that you had "made a comment" and then not find anything on the actual blog post!.

It's happened again! So I just cut & paste from the Email note and added your comment back in.

Hugs - hope you can work out what is going wrong for your blog account
