The Joke:
Have you ever wondered what the difference between Grandmothers and Grandfathers is?
A friend, who worked away from home all week, always made a special effort with his family on the weekends.
Every Sunday morning he would take his 7-year old granddaughter out for a drive in the car for some bonding time - just he and his granddaughter.
One particular Sunday however, he had a bad cold and really didn't feel like being up at all. Luckily, his wife came to the rescue and said that she would take their granddaughter out.
When they returned, the little girl anxiously ran upstairs to see her Grandfather.
'Well, did you enjoy your ride with grandma?'
'Oh yes, Papa' the girl replied, and do you know what? We didn't see a single dumb bastard, dip shit or horse's ass anywhere we went today!'
Almost brings a tear to your eye, doesn't it?
The Truth:
This is so true around the Coffeypot house hold, too. Once I was taking the grandkids someplace and they were climbing into the back seat. The first thing I always do is make sure they are buckled up. But they always buckle the lap belt but put the shoulder strap behind them. So I always say, “Chest!” and they know to pull the belt back across their chest.
So this time we are getting settled in for our trip and I am watching them in the rearview mirror. Sure enough, they slide the belt behind their shoulder.
So I ask them, “Okay! What’s the first thing I say when y’all get in the car.”
J-Man says, “Shut Up!”
The little shit would have gotten the crap beat out of him, but I was laughing to hard to even drive, much less give him the thrashing he deserved. He still lives.

Interesting posting.
The post I mentioned in a comment ton a different posting is up on my site.It has something to do with 24/7
Is that a picture of the coffeypot?! Wait, where's the nose ring, rockstar hair and spandex?
I love your story about your grandkids. That's why I never ask my kids questions in public. I'm too afraid of what they might say.
Matty, Boy don't I know it.
AM, encourage away - as if I needed it.
Mikey, I went over.
Mala, sorry to disappoint. Though I am married, I don't have a nose ring, the rock-star hair is mostly in the shower and on the hairbrush, and the spandex...I'm doing good to even wear underwear..
Hahaha
Chip off the old block.
Ed, He is more like me than I care to think about. He is mini-me.
Mala, I forgot to tell you, I do have pierced ears.
YOU ROCK!
Too funny!
That's hilarious. See? They do pay attention to what you're telling them.
