Not many people can come up with an idea like this.
To be able to find something this neat in an email, then cut and past it to a blog takes talent, energy and foresight. But I do it all for you, my peeps.

WHO EVER THOUGHT OF THIS SHOULD GET A GREEN MEDAL
(Not me, though…I should get a black medal instead - black for ink, ya know)
WHAT A GREAT IDEA. NO MORE TWIST TIES OR RUBBER BANDS.
This method is WATER PROOF AND AIR TIGHT.
Cut up a disposable water bottle and keep the neck and top as in this photo.
Insert the plastic bag through the neck and screw the top to seal.
The bag is made to be air-tight and waterproff.
The secret (for those of you who are less mechanically inclined) lies with the top and screw cap!
Genius!
Zip-top bags are great, but sometimes you buy something in bulk and you're stuck with a bag that cannot be sealed.
