I'm Off Again

I’m off again. This time I am leaving tonight for two locations in upper New York. I am delivering a load of puppies to the booming metropolis of Niskayuna, NY and a few dogs to the sister metropolis of Menands, NY. It is, according to MapQuest, a 16 hour drive to Niskayuna and a twenty-three minuets to Menands.

From there I am going to Murry Hill, NJ, (another three hours) to spend the night with Sweet Tea. She will be driving back with me on Saturday. Poor thing! She will be home until Valentines Day (I hope,) when she will be leaving for Paris, France, or a couple of weeks for training on a new system.

We live in a huge house (I’ll show you pictures one day) that echoes a lot. I’m not one of those men who NEEDS to have a woman to be around. I do my own laundry (even when she is here) and I clean the house pretty much without being asked (TOLD.) I can fix something to eat, although I don’t cook any serious shit. But it seems more complete when she is here yelling at me.

Oh, well! Such is the life of a professional working with an international company. I’m proud of her and her accomplishments, but I also like to scrooch up to her at night, too.

In the meantime, I will transport the dogs and puppies to far and exotic locations, and try to keep the peeing down to a manageable few hours between stops.

See y’all when I get back on Saturday night. TaTa!

Wishing you safe travel!
It's colder than a witch's boobie in a brass bra doin' pushups in a snow drift up there......so pack your longjohns!

Ahhh Paris...I hope Sweet Tea enjoys her trip and gets to do some touristy stuff.

I've been to Niskayuna, and I can tell you- it ain't much to look at. I'd much rather go to Paris. :-)

do those dogs whine & bark on the journey. I forgot what kind of vehicle you said you transport.

I wondered if you told them jokes and sang to them to comfort them.

Paris? PARIS? and you're staying home? Dontchaknow that some suave and debonair frenchie might woo her away?

Have a safe trip!

I was born in Schenectady and have relatives in Niskayuna. Yell hi to them as you drive through!

I wish I could take some animules, but the hubby says no. I used to have LOTS of animules, but he doesn't even want the one I have left. (Abird he calls the flying shitter.)

Be safe, enjoy. I like to cuddle up to BB, too! I miss that part when we're apart.

Hey, didja get a laptop yet?

I used to drive all over in a datsun pickup with a cap and the the hoard or dogs would bark like mad and salivate all over the windows.

My life is much quieter now. And less slimy.

Sounds like you're a man with a mission. Be careful out there. At least you know there's a treasure at the end of this journey.

Katy, the trip home was very nice. We talked and listen to audio taps and ate and drove and ate and talked and ate and ate.

Special K, Sweet Tea, it turns out, will only be in Paris for about four hours. She then flies to Sophia Antipolice, South West of Nice. She will be in training somewhere around there.

Nadine, Niskayuna is nice. I love small, old towns. There was snow everywhere, but not on the roads. It was a great trip.

NLL, I have already tried that.

Pamela, you know, it’s amazing, the all bark and yap until the wheels start rolling and they just lay down. Everyone once in a while one will bard at something, but I just tell them to be quiet and they do? I listen to the radio, the audio tapes or just ride in silence, and they are just contended to lay there. I had 22 animals this trip. Fifteen puppies and seven adult dogs, and they were all sweet as they could have been under the circumstances.

Burfica, I would if I could.

MST, thanks for the jokes and the instructions. I’ll work on them. BB has an apt name for the bird.

Gawilli, there was a treasure at the end, too. Sweet Tea had a bed that was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I slept for 12 hours straight. I tried to talk her into leaving all the cages and her luggage and taking the mattress with us. She said NO.

Omar Curze, Go FUCK YOURSELF.

RWA, Man I’m glad to hear from you.

Alekx, while you are visiting with the scammer, pleas tell him to read the above.

Everyone knows an assistant can't be a family member. If she is going to Paris, I will humbly volunteer my services as an international conceirge - I did take two years of French in high school (mostly because the teacher was hot). Well no matter, it would probably be kinda cool to take some dogs across country. Maybe I have cabin fever. Maybe I will just go to WalMart and hang out. NLM
