I am on the road again, this time to Williamson, VT. Mapquest says it's 18 hours from where I pick up the dogs which is 60 miles from my house. I have some help this time from a friend of Dr. Amber. We will be sharing the driving duties, but it's still a long trip. The good news is, with two drivers driving four hour shifts, we won't have to stop at a motel. That way we can be home on Saturday afternoon as usual.
When I think of Vermont I think of the Sugar Shack in Arlingtom VT on Rte 7A...best pancakes & real maple syrup...we always stop there when we go to Vermont. mmmm maple syrup...
Sorry folks, I didn’t take any pictures. It is an 18 hour drive up there and this time I had a co-pilot who had a bladder about as big as an acorn. I simply did not have time to take any pictures, plus I have a cold and feel like shit. I'm glad this trip is over. But it was beautiful up there. In PA the snow was still on the ground in the mountains and the trees were bare of leave because of it, but upstate New York and Vermont lived up to the postcard beauty.
