TO THINK ONE INDIVIDUAL, JUST ONE, CAN TAKE A CASE LIKE THIS TO THE CALIFORNIA SUPREME COURT AND GET A HEARING.
WHAT IS GOING ON IN THIS COUNTRY? WE, THE PEOPLE ARE LOSING OUR RIGHTS A LITTLE AT A TIME, AND WE ARE LETTING THESE SO CALLED CONGRESSMAN STICK IT TO US. THEY DON'T GIVE A DAMN. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THEIR OWN WELFARE AND POWER.
IT'S TIME WE ALL WAKE UP BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE. WE'LL LOOK OUT OUR WINDOW SOME DAY AND SEE A DIFFERENT FLAG WAVING OVER OUR SOIL.
WE SHOULD DO EVERYTHING WE CAN TO PREVENT THIS MEMORIAL FROM BEING TORN DOWN.
The American Civil Lib Union is none of the above. They actually destroy more citizens rights than any other pinko group. The sick part is when they try "fighing" for the rights of those who're not even in America. Where did they go wrong?
This same idiot in Oregon should petition the court to remove all the white crosses on federal land at Arlington Memorial Cemetery.
Who knows, some day he might be driving in the State of Virginia and drive past that cemetery (and be offended).
Does the ACLU take issue because the Majave Desert location is not a place set apart and dedicated as a memorial by our government?
Let the people speak up with one voice and seek to have that memorial consecrated as such. I would willingly petition my legislature if a bill was before the House and Senate.
Amen coffeypot! It is amazing to me the rights we americans have been quietly loosing. If the government isn't taking control of our business, they are quietly slipping more taxes through on our supposedly "free enterprise." Not to mention the health care fiasco. When will Joe American wake up?
Well I am offended when I see the plywood box that they put over the cross. That idiot in Oregon needs to get a life because obviously he has too much time on his hands.
I agree with Brother Dave. Let's have that patch of land turned over to the federal government and officially declared a memorial.
Then the ACLU and the clown in Oregon can kiss the collective asses of every brave member of our military, past and present, who made it possible for them to say absurd things like this.
