Another Me Me For You You

I have been tagged to do this meme. I am suppose to link to the person(s) that tagged me, but I don’t know how to link, yet, so I’ll just say that Special K tagged me. Thank you, sweetie!

Post the rules on your blog.

Share 7 random and/or weird facts about yourself on your blog, tag 7 random people at the end of your post and include links to their blogs. Let each person know that they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

1. I cannot just sit and watch TV. I have to be doing something else like working a crossword puzzle or reading or jacking off or doodling on a TV Guide or blogging.

2. When I’m on a transport I listen to audio books.

3. I hated high school and wasn’t too fond of college, either, though I did enjoy working on my MBA.

4. I suffer with clinical depression. Nothing drastic! It’s more like what’s the use in doing this or that. And I have a problem with believing people actually like me. I guess I’ve been the recipient of too many back-stabbings and lack of loyalty to believe anything else.

5. And despite the above, I love to laugh and hear people laugh. And absolutely nothing is too sacred to not be made fun of or joked about. Including me! And I have found some of the funniest people I have ever read on this blog. You people are funnier than paid professionals and I enjoy your company.

6. I want to go back to Japan and Hong Kong to see the stuff I couldn’t afford to see as a sailor.

7. I’m the worlds oldest male lesbian. So much so that I have to garble with Drano to get the hair clog out of my throat.

That’s it for now. I'm suppose to tag 7 of you, but fuck it. The chain stops here. I won’t tag anyone else. But if you would like to volunteer, be my guest.

I love reading about you people. Your lives, the good and the bad, and you are all so interesting. I’ve laughed out loud; had a tear roll down my cheek; and I have had the desire to hug some of you.

TTFN!

Oh my goodness!

FUNNY!

Sweet, too.

I think you are much sweeter than you let on.

I may do this. If I do, I will tell you. Can't do it now, prolly as we are going off to a motorcycle show soon.

Wow, you suffer from clinical depression? But you're so funny and jovial. An interesting combination and an excellent way to deal with depression, I imagine.

ha! Let's raise a glass to bloggers with depression!! I'm currently feeling my first 2 days of being sick on my new antidepressants.

I think you're wise not to tag anyone with this-- good work!

Grizzbabe, there was a famous comedian who once said (and I paraphrase) “Show me a comedian (or it might have been a clown) and I’ll show you a tragedy.” Well, the only tragedy in my life is that Jimmy Johnson won the title two years in a row in NASCAR. I have had, like all of us, some dark times in my life. But they are because of some decisions I made. And since I can’t kick the shit out of myself, the only other thing I can do is laugh. So when the dark comes, I look for the light. I know the dark will take me down and usually affects those around me. So I go to the light side to make it easier for all of us. That and J-Man and Bug!

Alex, thanks for stopping by. I believe you have commented before, but I was too distracted, or ignorant to notice. But I have done this meme, as you know. But yours is better. I’ll be back. I’m surprised that you came for Jen’s, I didn't think Jen knew I was alive, Oh well, live and learn.

RWA, any time is a good time for a laugh.

Hot Lemon, I know how you feel. I quit taking meds simply because the made me feel worse. But I will raise a glass with you: “Here’s to us depressed bloggers. It ain’t all about us, so laugh it off.” GULP! Burp!

Have I ever mentioned that you crack me up????

And it's a good thing.

I tend to do other things when I am watching TV or talking on the phone. It drives Mr. MFBA crazy.

Clinical depression is the only thing that makes me happy to have bipolar. I can't imagine only having the lows. While I may be taking anti-depressants, anti-convulsants, anti-psychotics, and sleeping pills, I do have periods of happiness. Of course, my shrink calls it mania but I say it's elation. Many hugs to you! Depression is tough.

You already know that nothing is sacred in my house.

#1 - Me too (except for the "jacking off" part)

#2 - I like audio books, too, although I don't do "transports".

#3 - I loved high school and college.

#4 - I understand. But I do actually like you. (smile)

#5 - I believe that about you, expecially the "nothing is too sacred" part.

#6 - I think you should go.

#7 - I don't believe it. You're way too sexy! (wink)

I might do this one, too. I'll let you know.

J.

Heidi, Thank you! You know that Confuses says, “Woman who fly upside down have crackup.”

CCW, I don’t wont to get into a “my depression is better than yours” thing, but I am quiet happy with clinical depression because it can be “handled” without meds. There are no great highs or great lows. The lows come to me when I’m very tired or when I sit around the house too long. But I know when it’s happening and I know to get out of the house and get fresh air. There are other sides, but I won’t bore you with any of them. Memories from childhood, etc. But I’m alright now. Just as soon as I get down off the chandelier.

Hootergirl, Go for it. I’ll enjoy reading it.

I attempted this meme. Just now.

I wish I could eat anything. But I have all these stupid allergies. If I came to visit, you'd be saying mean things about me on your blog.

Luckily for you, you're way down there and I am way up here. LOL!
