The Boys of the 60's

The boys of the 60's who served aboard the USS Frank E Evans DD754 and the HMAS Melbourne R21.

The gentleman in the wheelchair is Chief Riley...who watched his son go down that night.

Great guys, all!

This has to have been awesome, though I'm sure there was sadness too. I am happy that you all get together as you do. No one else understands.

Janie beat me to it! I was about to say:"What a good looking bunch!" Fabulous that you could all get together on this occasion.

Middle child, only another sailor understands, and only one who survived a tragedy at sea will truly understand brotherhood. I am lucky to know these cats.

Suz, thank you, they truly are.

Janie, most are retired, many suffer PTSD but all are successful in their careers with great families.

Momcat, this is the one thing I look forward to each year. So much fun, so many tears, but much more laughter. Great bunch of guys.

John. . . I think Judy and Joe might have a problem. . . The exact second I opened your blog, I saw YOU. I didn't have to go a' huntin' for you.

They can be relieved that you no longer live on our route to Indiana.
