Redneck Toilet Paper

Two good ole boys were on a long drive back from a fishing trip, when one turned to the other and said he needed to go to the bathroom. So, they stopped the truck and he went behind some bushes.

When he returned to the truck, the other guy remarked, "That was fast!"

"Well, I need to take a shit but I've got nothing to wipe my ass with," he replied.

The other explained, "All you have to do is use a dollar to wipe your ass."

"Good idea," he said, as he headed back to the bushes.

A short while later, he returned to the truck with a really upset look on his face and wiping his hands on his jeans. He said, "That was a terrible idea.”

“Why?” asked the driver.

“I not only got shit all over my hands, but now I've got three quarters, two dimes and a nickel stuck up my ass!"

Don Cherry Is My Hero

DON CHERRY, of Hockey Night in Canada, was asked on a local live radio talk show, just what he thought about the allegations of torture of suspected terrorists. His reply prompted his ejection from the studio, but to thunderous applause from the audience.

HIS STATEMENT:

"If hooking up one rag-head terrorist prisoner's testicles to a car battery to get the truth out of the lying little camel-shagger will save just one Canadian life, then I have only three things to say: 'Red is positive, black is negative, and make sure his nuts are wet."

They See It How It Is

Last night, my grandkids and I were sitting in the den and I said to them, 'I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and fluids from a bottle. If that ever happens, just pull the plug.'

They got up, unplugged the Computer, and threw out my beer.

They are SO on my shit list ....

Her's and His Side Of The Story

Her Side of the Story:

My husband was in an odd mood Saturday night. We planned to meet at a cafe for a drink. I spent the afternoon shopping with the girls and I thought it might have been my fault because I was a bit later than I promised, but he didn't say anything about it. I don't remember doing anything to make him upset, but I could tell there was something wrong.

The conversation was quite slow going so I thought we should go off to some place intimate so we could talk more privately. We went to this restaurant and he was STILL acting a bit funny. I was getting really worried, what did I do? What was bothering him? Was he mad at me?

I tried to cheer him up, but started to wonder what was bothering him. Was it me or something else? I asked him if he was upset with me, he said no. But I wasn't really sure.

In the car on the way back home, I said that I loved him deeply and he just put his arm around me. I didn't know what the heck that meant because, you know, he didn't say it back or anything. We finally got back home and I was wondering if he was going to leave me! So I tried to get him to talk but he just switched on the TV.

Reluctantly, I said I was going to go to bed. Then after about 10 minutes, he joined me and to my surprise, we made love. But he still seemed really distracted, so afterwards I wanted to confront him but didn't, so I just cried myself to sleep. I just don't know what to do anymore. I mean, I really think he's seeing someone else.

His Side of the Story:

Missed a 10 point buck today---three shots---couldn't shoot for shit! Felt kinda tired. Got laid though.

Three Hillbillies

Three Hillbillies are sitting on a porch a talkin'.

Clem: "My wife sure is stupid!...She bought an air conditioner."

Clem: "We ain't got no 'lectricity!"

Doodle: "That's nothin'! My wife is so stupid, she bought one of them new fangled warshin' machines!"

Clem: "Why is that so stupid?"

Doodle: "Cause we ain't got no plummin'!"

Possum John: "That ain't nuthin'! My wife is dumber than both yer wifes put together! I was going through her purse the oter day lookin' fer some change, and I found 6 condoms in there."

Clem and Doodle: "Well what's so dumb about that?"

Possum John: "She ain't got no pecker!"

Redneck Monday - The Poem

Here's the Old Redneck himself. Notice the cap says RIGID but I wrote Sometimes under it. The women give me a double take and shake their head looking at me with pitiful eyes. Sad they can't take a joke.

On the bright side, though, - I think - I am trying to grow my first beard. I look more like a wino than a studly man about the briar patch right now. But give it some time and I will be beating the women off with my Louisville Slugger (like Hell I will.)

Speaking of studly, I present for your Monday Redneck a poem of true love and devotion. So powerful that I know there will be panty-puddin all over the country. Steady girls. You'll be alright before you know it.

Collards is green,
My dog’s name is Blue,
And I’m so lucky
To have a sweet thang like you.

Yore hair is like con silk
A-flapping in the breeze.
Softer than Blue’s
And without all them fleas.

You move like the bass
Which excite me in May?
You ain’t got no scales
But I luv you anyway.

Yo’re as satisfy’n as okry
Just a-fry’n in the pan.
Yo’re as fragrant as “snuff”
Right out of the can.

You have some’a yore teeth,
For which I am proud:
I hold my head high
When we’re in a crowd.

On special occasions,
When you shave under yore arms,
Well, I’m in hawg heaven,
And awed by yore charms.

Still them fellers at work,
They all want to know,
What I did to deserve
Such a purdy, young doe.

Like a good roll of duct tape
Yo’re there fer yore man,
To patch up life’s troubles
And fiux what you can.

Yo’re as cute as a junebug
a-buzzin’ overhead.
You ain’t mean like those fire ants
I found in my bed.

Your cut from the best cloth
Like a plaid flannel shirt,
You park up my life
More than a fresh load of dirt.

When you hold me real tight
Like a padded gunrack,
My life is complete;
Ain’t nuttin’ I lack.

Yore complexion, it’s perfection,
Like the best vinyl sidin’
Despite all the years,
Yore age, it keeps hidin’.

Me ‘n’ you’s like a Moon Pie
With a RC cold drank,
We go together
Like a skunk goes with stank.

Some men, they buy chocolate
For Valentine’s Day;
They git it at Wal-Mart,
It’s romantic that way.

Some men git roses
On that special day
From the cooler at Kroger.
“That’s impressive,” I say.

Some men buy fine diamonds
From a flea market booth.
“Diamonds are forever,”
They explain, suave and couth.

But for this man, honey,
These won’t do.
Cause yor’e too special,
You sweet thang you.

I got you a gift,
Without taste or oder,
More useful than diamonds…
IT’S A NEW TROLL’N MOTER!

Now, wipe those tears, girls. I know your man loves you just as much, too.

Grandkids Make You Proud

This is my 14 year old grand-hormone, J-Man. If any of you have ever lain awake at night wondering what I looked like as a kid (come-on, you know you have) there it is. He is a mini-me…in more ways than one.

I have been open in dealing with the kids and their questions. Depending on the need to know, the seriousness of the question or the reason dictates how deep the answer goes.

Like last night he was in the basement apartment talking to my step-son and daughter-in-law. Something was said or someone was called a douche-bag. He wanted to know what one was, but Laura and Steven didn’t know how to answer so they told him to ask us. Memaw (Judy) stuttered and tried to come up with an answer. I just told him what one was and why it is used.

He just said, “Really? Eweeee!” and went back down stairs. No big deal.

All this is leading up to the reason for the post. We (mom, dad, and me) have been kidding him about ‘chocking the chicken’ and ‘spackling the ceiling.’ He just laughs and looks a little embarrassed - but he never denied it.

So when I picked the two heathens up for the weekend, J-Man walks up to me with his chest out and proudly said, “Pawpaw, I have put the Master in Masturbating.”

I had tears in my eyes. I was so proud of him. It is so inspiring to see your grandkids excel in something. It makes we want to try harder.

Smart Fishing

To those of you who consider yourself “Florida folks” have you ever seen this phenomenon before? Travis, if you really like to fish, take notes.

These bottlenose dolphins are so smart – what a way to fish! And you thought that bears knew how to fish. You ain’t seen anything until you watch this. I also think it is great that someone was able to capture this on film.

A pod of bottlenose dolphins off the coast of Florida have developed a remarkable hunting strategy in order to catch fish. Another awesome thing about this technique is that only one female in the pod can create this ring, and it's always counterclockwise.

PRICELESS

Leave It To Dad

If Dads Were Left To Raise The Kids By Themselves...

Boys would read more!

Kids would get more rest.

Work would get done more efficiently.

Potty training? Who needs it?

Kids would be more able to express their emotions!

Bath time would be more fun!

But never let dad go to a T-Shirt making store.

TMI Thursday - Mile High Club - Kinda

Today is TMI Thursday and I have been told I have to link to Lilu’s Live It Love It site. I guess this does it. If not, bite me.
TMI Thursday
I told someone, maybe Mala over at Mixed Nutswho suggested I post something on TMI Thursday. I believe she mentioned , or I did, about being in the mile high club. I don’t know if I am or not. I did get a blow job on a flight, but not laid. Does that earn me my wings?

Back in my Navy days I met this very sweet girl at the skating rink and fell deeply in lust with her. But she lived in San Francisco, and I was stationed in Long Beach, 400 miles away. So I saved up a few dollars and flew up to see her. I was 18 and she had just started her senior year in high school at 17. It was a sweet weekend. Momma like a hawk, little dove cooing every chance she got. Innocent, but fun.

On the flight back this older lady (older as in her 30’s or 40’s - which is ancient to an 18 year old hormone) was sitting next to me - isle seat - I was trapped - thank God. Anycum, she started talking to me, telling me how she loved a man (HAHAHAHA) in uniform, and asking did I have a wife or girlfriend. She asked me if I wanted to have a little fun? It was nighttime, the flight was an hour and some change long, but we had time. She got a blanket and covered both of us. Then she started rubbing me. Almost lost it right then. Almost! I didn’t because she stopped rubbing and started unbuttoning the 13 buttons on the flap of my uniform. Navy sure knows how to dress a guy to aid in getting a hand/blow job.

Anybobbing, she went down on me. Holy Hoover, she knew what she was doing. Me, I was scared to death. I couldn’t be cool because my head was swiveling like the girl in the Exorcist looking for anyone who might see us or the stewardess (what they were called back then) walking by . But soon it got to where I didn’t care if I was on a stage in New York. And she set up and actually licked her lips.

About three minutes later we touched down (I had already scored a TD by then) and we rolled to a stop. She said, “Thanks for a great flight and have a good career.” and was gone. GONE! I had to button up my own flap - under the blanket. Bitch!

Anysmile, did I earn my wings? Do I have to put the craft in the hanger before it counts? I have wondered all these years.

I did get laid on a Greyhound bus, but you don’t get a ticket punched for that. Maybe I’ll tell you about that one next week.

Unless you want me to tell you about it today...

Proof Positive I'm A Man

After my last post I though I would need to prove to you I am a man. It takes balls to do that, so I thought I'd prove it by showing you my balls.

See below!

Okay, they are from 1948, and they have shrivled up back to that size again, but I still have'em. Proof positive I am a man.

Man Test

Women have their chick magazines telling them how to be more of a woman, how to make a meal for 50 using an egg or 50 ways to satisfy or turn on their husband (such a waste of print when all she has to do is give him a beer and lay down.) But being one who believes in equal time in helping the genders understand themselves better, I give you the Man Test - in case any of your dudes were wondering about yourself…

1. If you are over forty, and you have a washboard stomach, you are a queer. It means you haven't sucked back enough beer with the boys and have spent the rest of your free time doing sit-ups, aerobics, and doing the Oprah diet...Faggot.

2. If you have a cat, you are a homo. A cat is like a dog, but queer-- it grooms itself constantly but never scratches itself, has a delicate touch except when it uses its claws, and whines to be fed. And just think about how you call a dog... 'Killer, come here! I said get your ass over here, Killer!' Now think about how you call a cat...'Bun-bun, come to daddy, snookums!' Jeeez, you're so queer.

3. If you suck on lollipops, Ring-Pops, baby pacifiers, or any such nonsense, rest assured, you are a Gaylord. A straight man only sucks on BBQ ribs, crab claws, raw oysters, lobster backs, pickled pigs feet, or tits. Anything else and you are a Homo in training and undeniably a fag.

4. If you refuse to take a dump in a public bathroom or piss in a parking lot, you crave a deep homosexual relationship. A man's world is his toilet; he defecates and urinates where he pleases.

5. If you drink anything other than regular coffee, you're as fairy as Tinkerbelle. A straight man will never be heard ordering a 'Decaf Soy Latte'. If you've put a Decaf Soy Latte to your lips, you've had a man there too.

6. If you know more than six names of non-standard colors or four different types of dessert other than ice cream and custard, you might as well be handing out ‘free ass’ passes. A real man doesn't have memory space in his brain to remember all of that crap. If you can pick out chartreuse you're gay; if you can name ANY type of textile other than cotton or denim, you are a peter puffer.

7. If you drive with both hands on the wheel, forget it, you're dying to tune a meat whistle. A man only puts both hands on the wheel to honk at a slow-assed driver or to cut the prick off. The rest of the time he needs that hand to change the radio station, eat a hamburger, or hold his beer.

8. If you don't send this to some the guys on your email list because you are afraid of hurting their feelings then you are definitely on the verge of being a salami smuggler.

‘Nuf said!

Also, women like chocolate, so it’s okay for men to like jelly beans. Ronald Reagan did. So her is a list of jelly beans for men:

Frog On A Golf Ball

From My Friend, Pax

A man goes out golfing.

He is on the second hole when he notices a frog sitting on a Golf Ball.

He thinks nothing of it and is about to shoot when he hears, "Ribbit 9 Iron."

The man looks around and doesn't see anyone. Again, he hears, "Ribbit 9 Iron."

He looks at the frog and decides to Prove the frog wrong, puts the club Away, and grabs a 9 iron.

Boom!

He hits it 10 inches from the cup. He is shocked. He says to the frog, "Wow that's amazing. You must be a lucky frog, eh?"

The frog replies, "Ribbit Lucky frog."

The man decides to take the frog with Him to the next hole.

"What do you think frog?" the man asks.

"Ribbit 3 wood."

The guy takes out a 3 wood and Boom! Hole in one.

The man is befuddled and doesn't know what to say.

By the end of the day, the man golfed the best game of golf in his life and asks the frog, "OK where to next?"

The frog replies, "Ribbit Las Vegas."

"They go to Las Vegas and the guy says, "OK frog, now what?"

The frog says, "Ribbit Roulette."

Upon approaching the roulette table,

The man asks, "What do you think I should bet?"

The frog replies, "Ribbit $3,000, black 6."

Now, this is a million-to-one shot to win, but after the golf game the man figures what the heck.

Boom! Tons of cash comes sliding back across the table.

The man takes his winnings and buys the best room in the hotel.

In the room he sits the frog down and says, "Frog, I don't know how to repay you.

You've won me all this money and I am forever grateful."

The frog replies,

"Ribbit Kiss Me."

He figures why not, since after all the frog did for him, he deserves it.

With a kiss, the frog turns into a Gorgeous girl.

"And that is how the girl ended up in my room, Elin. So help me God or my name isn’t Tiger Woods."

Maxine's Men

MY FIVE NEW BOYFRIENDS!!!

I am seeing 5 gentlemen every day.

As soon as I wake up, Will Power helps me get out of bed.

Then I go to see John.

Then Charlie Horse comes along, & when he is here, he takes a lot of my time & attention.

When he leaves,Arthur Ritis shows up & stays the rest of the day.

He doesn't like to stay in one place very long, so he takes me from joint to joint.

After such a busy day, I'm really tired & glad to go to bed With Ben Gay.

What a life! Oh, yes, I'm also flirting with Al Zymer.

And thinking of calling JACK DANIELS or JOHNNY WALKER to come and keep me company.

Now remember:

Life is like a roll of toilet paper...the closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes....so have fun, think 'good thoughts', learn to laugh at yourself, and Count your blessings!!!!!!!

I Got An Award

I am so fortunate to have a eclectic group of followers and readers. Almost all of you are super funny while some of your are super heroic and post about the state of the country and the decline of the American way of life under our Socialist Dictator.

But I have one lady who is just full of love and is a great artist and poet.

Mary Stebbins Taitt over at No Polar Coordinates has bestowed on me one of her paintings as an award for, as she put it, “For the good work you did assisting with dog rescues in 2009.”

Mary, darling, I do not do anything but drive a van. All the work is done, and all the platitudes should go to my step-daughter, Dr. Amber and her assistant, Susan. So I will take this award and post it on my side bar in Amber and Susan’s honor. And I send you hugs and kisses for being so sweet and thinking of me.

Thank you!

Old? Man at Taco Bell

This isn't about me, though I've been there and done that.

$5.37, That's what the kid behind the counter at Taco Bell said to me. I dug into my pocket and pulled out some lint, two dimes and something that used to be a Jolly Rancher. Having already handed the kid a five-spot, I started to head back out to the truck to grab some change when the kid with the Emo hairdo said the harshest thing anyone has ever said to me. He said, "It's OK. I'll just give you the senior citizen discount."

I turned to see who he was talking to and then heard the sound of change hitting the counter in front of me. "Only $4.68" he said cheerfully. I stood there stupefied. I am 48, not even 50 yet?" A mere child! Senior citizen?

I took my burrito and walked out to the truck wondering what was wrong with Emo. Was he blind? As I sat in the truck, my blood began to boil. Old? Me?

I'll show him, I thought. I opened the door and headed back inside. I strode to the counter, and there he was waiting with a smile.

Before I could say a word, he held up something and jingled it in front of me, like I could be that easily distracted! What am I now? A toddler?

"Dude! Can't get too far without your car keys, eh?"

I stared with utter disdain at the keys. I began to rationalize in my mind, "Leaving keys behind hardly makes a man elderly! It could happen to anyone!"

I turned and headed back to the truck. I slipped the key into the ignition, but it wouldn't turn. What now? I checked my keys and tried another. Still nothing.

That's when I noticed the purple beads hanging from my rearview mirror. I had no purple beads hanging from my rearview mirror.

Then, a few other objects came into focus. The car seat in the back seat. Happy Meal toys spread all over the floorboard. A partially eaten doughnut on the dashboard.

Faster than you can say ginkgo biloba, I flew out of the alien vehicle. Moments later I was speeding out of the parking lot, relieved to finally be leaving this nightmarish stop in my life.

That is when I felt it, deep in the bowels of my stomach: hunger! My stomach growled and churned, and I reached to grab my burrito, only it was nowhere to be found.

I swung the truck around, gathered my courage, and strode back into the restaurant one final time. There Emo stood, draped in youth and black nail polish. All I could think was, "What is the world coming to?"

All I could say was, "Did I leave my food and drink in here?"

At this point I was ready to ask a Boy Scout to help me back to my vehicle, and then go straight home and apply for Social Security benefits.

Emo had no clue. I walked back out to the truck, and suddenly a young lad came up and tugged on my jeans to get my attention. He was holding up a drink and a bag. His mother explained, "I think you left this in my truck by mistake." I took the food and drink from the little boy and sheepishly apologized.

She offered these kind words: "It's OK. My grandfather does stuff like this all the time."

All of this is to explain how I got a ticket doing 85 in a 40. Yes, I was racing some punk kid in a Toyota Prius. And no, I told the officer, I'm not too old to be driving this fast.

As I walked in the front door, my wife met me halfway down the hall. I handed her a bag of cold food and a $300 speeding ticket. I promptly sat in my rocking chair and covered up my legs with a blanky.

The good news was I had successfully found my way home.
